The 5-Minute Trick to De-Puff Eyes and Boost a Healthy GLOW

~ Jade Roller

imageBefore the holidays, I had brunch with my BFF, who is so in the know, and she asks, "you've tried the Jade roller, right"? Looking at her complexed, I was honest and said I haven't nor do I know that much about it. When I went home, I immediately researched it, bought one, fell in love, and wound up buying three more for my mom and sisters as token gifts.

Jade rollers, which are handheld massaging tools are made with one or two jade stone heads, and are said to boost blood circulation, reduce under-eye swelling, and help products absorb better into your skin. The one pictured features a large rolling stone for bigger areas of the face, like your cheeks or forehead, and a smaller rolling stone for tiny areas of the face, such as eyes or nose. I've used it for over a month and can confidently say this is a must-have item. I use it in the morning, wish I remembered every day, but some mornings I have more time then other days. I leave it in the fridge, because I love the way the cold feels and it helps refresh my skin. I particularly love it to help wake-up my lids and under eye area in the AM. I roll it gently around the whole orbital of my eye to smooth out any swelling. I use it on my forehead and up the sides of my face to get my blood circulating and give me that fresh face glow. I've even used it down the outer sides of my nose to help slleviate any sinus pressure I might have. I get instant relief!

Here's why I love it:
- It cost less than $10! There are many out there on the market, but I went cheap without any sacrifices. No need to spend a fortune.
- It promises to help relax the nervous system and aid in the removal of toxins.
- A great tool that offers a quick-pick-me-up facial.
- Helps plump up your skin, allowing the product to fully penetrate the skin.

I asked an expert, Dr. David Banks, a Mount Kisco, NY dermatologist, and he shared, "The Jade Rollers might possibly boost circulation and reduce under-eye swelling, but I can’t see how they would help products absorb better into the skin. "

Give it a try for yourself! I bought mine on Amazon, but you can find them all over the Internet!
