The GLOW Phenomenon

September 25th, 2013

~ Dr. Brandt’s CC Glow

The other night on the Emmy’s I noticed and admired that many celebrities had a certain glow about them. It radiated from the neck up- Anna Gunn particularly looked luminous as I mentioned it my Daily dose of news.

As we get older, most women understand that ‘glow’ defines beauty and portrays an aura of angelic color with low-level shine. I always write about this ‘glow’, because I always try to achieve it. I personally love a complexion that exuberates a flush of warm color. Cheeks glowing exemplify exactly that---healthy beauty.

Dermatologist, Fredric Brandt, agrees and has launched a collection of products, which I absolutely love, under the GLOW line. The newest addition is his CC glow with signature Ruby Crystal. I started wearing it last week and the effect is ‘brilliant’ right down to the ingredients. By the end of the day, my skin doesn’t look tired or worn down or dry it continues to radiate even when I don’t.

I asked Dr. Brandt what sets this product apart from the overwhelming choices out there. He shares, "Every woman wants that one solution that addresses all her skin issues. For women with color imperfections like redness and dark spots or dull, tired skin, this CC glow formula is that solution. The key is the illuminating, complexion-evening quality of my signature ruby crystal complex. Inspired by the ruby laser treatment I use in my own office, the complex helps lighten and brighten skin while smoothing fine lines for a naturally ageless finish."

This new "CC" (color correcting) formula is a veil of color that can be used as a tint or primer, which does it all--- instantly illuminates, hydrates, brightens and protects the skin. I have even found that it helps smooth away the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It is offered in only one shade, which works perfectly fine for my skin. Its texture is creamy with a ruby crystal complex as well as stabilized vitamin C to brighten skin and promote radiant, even skin.

Oh, and I almost forget, it contains Broad Spectrum SPF 30--- now I think I covered or should I say CC Glow covers it all!
