Sleeping With Roses On My Face

July 24th, 2014

My obsession continues for masks.

Sweltering temperatures- especially high humidity- are wreaking havoc on skin this summer (and it’s only July!), so I've been turning to cool, restorative face masks to replenish my skin.

New on my list is Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Mask--- the Bio-Repair Gel Mask is a cooling, rejuvenating gel formula.

Here's what you need to know:

What it does: It improves the appearance of aging skin, including the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, dehydration, and dullness while helping to promote skin suppleness. It retains water to keep it hydrated,

Who is it for: Anyone 20+ who is concerned about aging skin.

What makes it unique: The rose mask incorporates plant biotechnology for antiaging benefits. Included in the ingredients is a blend of rose extracts and a rejuvenating gel that helps reveal younger-looking skin.

How to use it: Apply a generous coat on clean skin. Allow to remain on for 10 minutes. Rinse with cool water. During the summer, I highly recommend refrigerating it and using it as a cooling treatment- even if it is just used below the eyes. Here I go--- I apply a layer and leave it on overnight for even better hydration and rejuvenating benefits.

And according to Peter Thomas Roth himself, "it has no fragrance, but rose water and tons of roses. Indulge a thick layer on your face for ten minutes and you will be amazed at the result".

Simply said, I LOVE it, and for only $45 you get a lot of pink gel in one tub--- keep your eyes out on QVC for special pricing! And apparently it's flying off of store shelves- definitely a hot item this summer. (It even launched with a Bio-Repair Cleansing Gel, which I am also enamored by- so gentle and refreshing to wash your skin with this lightweight gel.
