January 5th, 2016

~  All affordable and worthy of a purchase.

READERS, Happy New Year and sorry for the slight disappearance act. I had major site issues due to spamming, and it took me till the holidays to resolve. I can't think of a better way to start with new product news. I am also preparing some Innovator and Newsworthy Beauty Trends for January so stay tuned.

While my son is prepping on Monday nights for his ACT's, I don't waste time just waiting around. I am scouring the local CVS and Walgreens to see what is the latest launches to share with all of you. Most are well under $20, making it, even more, appealing. I am sure there will be more, but currently, I have my eyes on these finds!

I am loving the benefits Vitamin C has on my skin. Try it, and be patient, you will find it helps brighten the skin. Now combine Vitamin C with another trend happening in Korea (a big beauty influencer) and you have a potent anti-age fighter. Essences are known to contain high concentrations of ingredients and are a vital component of the Japanese skin-care routine. Launching now is Lumene Bright Now Vitamin C Hyaluronic Essence, $24.99, which is one of the first essences to hit drugstores.

You can control where and how much to use and I love that it is a return to the compact- It might be the next best compact to MAC's StudioFix!

Set in a crayon base, this pomade offers a tapered tip to help us be precise and the formula is sheer leaving us little to no room for noticeable error. I have already coveted to using the Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara, I'm sure this will be on my go-to list now too!

My hair goes crazy for coconut, but sometimes it gets weighed down or appears 'greasy'. Suave's Professional Coconut Oil Infusion Damage Repair Oil Treatment, $5.99, has the right balance of frizz-smoothing and pure coconut oils that keeps my hair looking fresh, not slick.
