Two Hair Products Sure To Impress

January 19th, 2011

Redken to the ‘Rescue’.

imageI love talking beauty in January with the launch of many revolutionary products that rev up our beauty routine.

Redken has creatively combined the growing trend in natural products with high-tech ingredients.

Redken's New Nature Rescue is just what our hair craves this time of the year--- an oceanic fragrance and voluminous body to avoid giving up with our hair and burying it under a hat.

The line contains no sulfates or parabens and a nutrient-rich Sea Algae Hydracomplex to protect and moisture the hair.

But the real breakthrough is found in these two products: Refining Sea Polish and Radiant Sea Spray.

imageI bet you never thought about exfoliating your hair, but Redken did and created a mild buffing system to polish and refine the cuticles. Refining Sea Polish gently exfoliates with pumice to remove impurities, leaving hair's surface smooth and shiny. Rodney Cutler, Redken's Brand Ambassador and owner of Cutler/Redken Salons, recommends using it on hair mid-shaft and smoothing it to the ends. It is best to avoid the scalp and use it no more than two times a week. Rodney agrees that it is "absolutely a revolutionary" at-home hair product.

Another favorite in the line and just as revolutionary is the Radiant Sea Spray. This lightweight spray adds texture while time-touch fragrance capsules release bursts of oceanic scent when the hair is touched. Cutler shares with me in fun, "the more you play, the better you smell".

Hair twirlers rejoice, your habit is finally paying off.
