GREEN Machine

November 28th, 2012

A magic wand your lashes will adore and others will envy.

Did you ever try on a pair of expensive shoes and just know they were meant to be yours. Comfort, color, style--- it just all works and feels just right. And walking out of the store, you swing your bag with pride thinking about all the outfits you can pair them with and how très chic they will now look.

This is exactly how I felt when I tried on the new CoverGirl Clump Crusher by LashBlast Mascara, $6.99. Immediately I knew it would steal the thunder away from my favorite LashBlast Volume Mascara, make my lashes look super long and super special and no matter what else I apply on my face, my lashes will always be the focal point. As you age, your lashes have a tendency to lack that lustrous length appeal, and it isn’t as much about volume, but about gaining back a smooth, even application (you’re dealing with shorter lashes) clump-free.

This curved brush is AH-mazing!!! (Yes, it deserves three exclamation marks.) The design allows a custom fit to the curve of my eye with tight spacing between the bristles ensuring separated lashes--- as good as your own hair comb goes through the hair on your head. Swipe away, no matter how many strokes you use, zero clumps. It’s that good. My husband, whom I love dearly, but never, notices anything different about me, even commented if I was applying extensions. It looked that great! It wears well but comes off easily at the end of the day with soap and water.

I learned this trick during Fashion Week to gain even greater wide-eye appeal: Concentrate on adding a few extra coats to the center lashes. This will help make the eye appear open.

A fun side note: This title came to mind, because of my son’s basketball team. The team’s nickname is “the GREEN Machine”, and like this product, they are crush worthy, perform as a team, and are decked in green, hence the common success this name represents.

Available this month with full distribution beginning in January 2013.
