The hot nail color of the moment.

imageBlue's popularity makes sense TODAY with the Giants (a.k.a Big Blue) Super Bowl victory and people are feeling blue with a prediction that a possible recession is near. But the truth is designers made a statement with this shade over six months ago and smart marketers created blue palettes to emulate the new emerging trend.

Blue is said to be the new black and is in the spotlight this season as a cool alternative to red and an escape from gothic darks.

Chanel has done it again and sent 'the world' in a tizzy with the launch of Blue Satin as part of their spring 2008 shade collection. Celebrities, fashionistas (young & old) are rejoicing over this latest introduction. At $19.99 a bottle who cares if the wear isn't the best, it's the shade that makes the statement.

Other companies featuring this fingertip chic shade are Wet'N Wild's Sapphire Blue--- offers a close color match to Chanel's Blue hue and is only 99 cents, Deborah Lippmann's Hit Me With Your Best Shot, Essie's Aruba Blue and OPI's Yoga-ta Get This Blue.

Does that mean soft pales are out? Absolutely not! But soft pales are ignited with a bit more color as stated in yesterday's Dailies.

- Back.

The best color in the whole world, is the one that looks good, on you!
