Beauty Point-ers

December 21st, 2006

The name of the game is to predict, tune-in and win.

imageThe red carpet season is quickly approaching and many of us will confess (I will for sure!) that we stay tuned to the shows, especially the Golden Globes, Grammies and Oscars just to watch what the celebrities are wearing. In a time, where celebrity images have replaced models and what they wear and how they look set the trends, along comes Fantasy Fashion League Beauty Edition to meet this ongoing wave.

What is Fantasy Fashion League (FFL)? FFL is in its second season and is the fashionista's answer to fantasy football. While the men are consumed in their weekly football fix, the women get together for some stylish fun. Participants draft fashion designers and celebrities. They score a fashion touchdown and earn points for making the headlines with the right connection. For instance, Maggie Gyllenhaal is being featured on the cover of Vogue or two of Giorgio Armani gowns are being worn.

FFL now offers a creative twist and has teamed up with Avon-mark, the beauty and fashion boutique brand and created a special FFL Beauty Edition. Mark's team of experts will help make it easy to draft your winning trends. The FFL Beauty Edition is debuting just in time for the Red Carpet Season 2007 (the months of January and February). It will be complete with a draft, points and prizes. Additionally it will let you choose celebrities and a beauty trend. Scoring will be based on connecting the beauty trend like "red lipstick" or "loose undo's" with a celebrity. So if the celebrity you choose is wearing that beauty trend that you predicted you get points. The more exposure "the beauty look" gets the more points you get. Don't worry; you don't need to track the points as they will do so for you. Participants will only need to enter it on the site.

The FFL Beauty Edition is free to play, plus the grand prize winner will be awarded a $250 basket of goodies from mark. Pre-registration is going on now, so sign-up and share the FFL Beauty Edition with your friends. Fantasy Fashion League Beauty Edition.
