A Makeup that Works its Mojo

November 4th, 2009

Lancome’s Oscillation Powerfoundation.

It's no secret that you love a good buzz. It's no secret that every professional artist uses makeup tools to create a seamless canvas. It's as much about the applicator; as it is the products you apply.

imageLancome is making a move, literally, to enhance and put a dance in your application step. Lancome's latest... vibrating mineral powder foundation! If you thought vibrating mascara was inventive, you are now witnessing a whole new movement in makeup. The pulse factor continues to oscillate the industry.

Lancome's Oscillation Powerfoundation works its mojo to give you coverage like no other. Just press a button to activate the cushioned applicator. It delivers 7,000 micro-vibrations per minute to break down the pigment into micronized particles that blend seamlessly onto the skin. Pixel perfect! Checkout this indepth video.

Insider Tips:
-When choosing a mineral foundation, select a shade that's slightly warmer than your skin tone. Mineral makeup tends to look ashy when applied.
-Be sure to apply Oscillation Powerfoundation to a clean, dry face. If you apply mineral foundation to moist skin it can change the color and look blotchy.

Powder does tend to be drying on older skin, personally I still prefer a liquid tint for a more glowing complexion. However the vibrating applicator feels good on the skin and gives it subtle wave of rejuvenation.

Don't get carried away, for good riddance, it's an applicator not facial massager.

Enjoy the buzz.
