Baby, It’s Cold Outside

February 24th, 2010

I really need some spring fixings.

Old Man Winter is still glooming over us sending cold winds, snow and ice our way.

I officially have said Au Revoir to winter, and started dazzling myself in some spring trendy shades and getting my skin ready for exposure.

Here are some tips, new colors and personal favorites to get you feeling radiant looking.

imageGo for the GLOW
Add a rosy tint to your cheeks. New on the market is Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel... use a brush to achieve the most natural flush!

imageSpring Toes
A summer coral might not be right, but Essie's NEW Neo-Whimsical shade partners lilac with gray for the perfect spring hue. Great alternative to sheer pink.

imageSugar Rush
Give your skin a decadent treat without packing on the pounds. Fresh's Brown Sugar Polish is a cult-favorite that shouldn't be skipped starting now. Exfoliating your body regularly- at least three times a week- will renew the skin and get it tan or should we say faux tan ready.

imageCraving Soft Skin?
Nothing looks more unattractive than patchy, white dry skin. Johnson's new Baby Creamy Oil is your everyday solution. It combines rich emollients with its well-known Baby Oil to deliver a creamy, non-greasy texture to the skin, and after that sugar scrub it will seal in the moisture. I LOVE it and it doesn't break the bank!

imageBronze Flash
We love to take cover during the winter, but let's start shedding those layers. Adding a little color- even to just your arms- will get you feeling a little less pasty and ready to bare more! Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel gives you the tan that you need, quickly! No need to stay naked to dry.

You can take no credit for beauty at sixteen. But if you are beautiful at sixty, it will be your soul's own doing.
