CoffeeBerry: The New Buzzword in Skin Care

Coffeeberry extract is being touted as the next BIG skin care ingredient.
The beauty industry hasn't been so excited since Retin-A made a name for itself in the fight against wrinkles! What is all the buzz about? CoffeeBerry extract. Allure Magazine announced the secret a few weeks back and stated "CoffeeBerry extract prevents skin damage better than other ingredients".
Here is the lowdown:
What is it? CoffeeBerry is a name to describe the whole fruit of the coffee bush. It is a flowing red berry (similar to the beautyberry!) that contains the bean. Like many plants, coffee distributes its powerful nutrition throughout the whole fruit, not just the seed therefore the goodness of the CoffeeBerry extract contains the most powerful natural antioxidant yet discovered. According to Allure's report, CoffeeBerry extract's antioxidant content has been tested to show higher levels of antioxidants than pomegranate and green tea, the current leading two on the market. Additionally, it protects from UVA and UVB rays and its damage to the skin and is shown to be super-rich in polyphenols, which are said to defend against cellular damage of the skin.
How will this benefit the skin? Studies have shown that by applying a skin cream or skin product containing coffeeberry extract regularly, the skin's appearance can show improvement in fine lines and wrinkles, smoothness, discoloration and an increase in hydration.
Is there a product line and where can you purchase it? Unfortunately you still have a short wait before the line becomes available to the market. In February, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) holds an annual meeting at which they will unveil this secret skin cream which is being called Revale Skin. It will be sold in a cleanser, day cream and night cream, for $40 to $100 at dermatologists' and plastic surgeons' offices nationwide~ the good news is that you will not need a prescription.
