Better skin without a prescription

Potent, proven, professionally designed

Olay is taking a leap of fate with the introduction of Professional Pro-X. It is the first time a cosmetic line is paired to a prescription strength product. Olay's BIG challenge is price, but its clinical findings outshine even the prescription gold standard treatment choice- .02% tretinoin in an emollient base at 8 weeks after use. (MBB will disclose product at a future date, and what a surprise it is!)
Potency
Why such outstanding results? Pro-X doesn't depend on only one ingredient to perform all the work. "Since it is formulated with a 'cocktail of additives', you get a BIG BANG effect that add a unique synergy that is paramount to the overall effect," according to Greg Hillebrand, Ph.D., P&G Beauty Science.
Proven and professionally designed
Olay's Professional Alliance- a partnership that combines renowned dermatologists from around the world paired with the best of P&G scientists- consulted on this line, and wanted to raise the bar in skin care standards, offering a prescription strength range of products down the beauty isle that delivers 'true' results. True meaning "true before, true after" results measured in the same light, same angel, same positioning- you get the picture. After 8 weeks Pro-X significantly improved with a 17% wrinkle reduction compared to the prescription strength. After 24 weeks, results got even better and jumped up to 25% reduction in the appearance of the length and depth of wrinkles.
Product Usage
Which comes first the treatment or the cream? "The general rule," says Doris Day, M.D., a clinical assistant professor of dermatology at New York University Medical Center, "Is the thinner product goes on first, followed by the thicker product." Dr. Day recommends usage of the Pro-X line in this order:
A.M.: Deep Wrinkle Treatment followed by Age Repair Lotion, SPF 30
P.M.: Deep Wrinkle Treatment followed by Wrinkle Smoothing Cream
Use target-specific products as directed.
MBB's contributing writer, Eve Marx, has been testing the products for the past two months. Tune in to the Dailies to find out if her results were favorable or not.
