Stick with the old fashion shower cap.
Only in the past year, have I used a shower cap, regularly. Yes,it seems old fashion, but it certainly helps extend the life of a good blow out. I recently read a tip from a reputable Editor (I won't share her name) who recommended wrapping hair in a towel instead. She thought it was more effective in keeping the style in place and prevented frizz. Great idea, I thought. This past Thursday, I got my hair cut, they styled it beautifully, then I rushed home to take a quick shower before attending my son's back to school night. Well, I took my hair out of the towel afterwards thinking I would just brush it and go, and what a disaster. It was bent (you know when your bangs literally form a dent that just won't go away) in every which way, stood up in all the wrong places and looked bloody awful. I had to rewet it- like I had time for this- restyle it and never did capture the look I wanted.
Word to the wise: Stay with the old-fashion trusty shower cap!
