Wrinkles from a child’s perspective.

imageIt was Friday night and I was sitting with my children eating dinner when my youngest son (he's a witty 7-yr.old) says, "Oh mommy," as he is pointing to my forehead, "that looks just like the way I make noses." What he referred to are the vertical frown lines [l l] on my forehead right above my nose. Professionally they are called 'glabellar lines', but to my son they resemble the noses that he is so proud of drawing. He actually went on to say that my two eyes, if they were smaller, were the nostrils. Mmmm, interesting I thought. The irony here is that most recently I have been so impressed with a product I have been using everyday for the past six months- help me! In fact, I recently shared with my mom how I felt those lines have been diffusing and not looking so severe. I have always had these 'vertical frown lines' and they became mostly pronounced because of my squinting. However, funny as it is, when I look at them now I don't see wrinkles, and what I do see is my son's wonderful drawing of a nose- see the image above. I will continue to use help me! and prayer that it continues to 'do my skin good'- it truly is an incredible product, and I will no longer think of my [l l] as wrinkles, but my son's creative artwork.
