5 Minutes To Get Your Glow On
May 15th, 2013
- A must-have look for summer.
Skin that looks flawless and glowing captures my attention in minutes. Add a hint of natural radiance and you found a winner! That's why I am always seeking how to achieve this sought after look. I think I found the perfect mix of products and happy to share them.
Step 1: Start with a drop of lightweight tints (or a CC Cream, like Peter Thomas Roth NEW CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Complexion Corrector ) works well here too. The key to the product is it should be lightweight and could contain a little sheen to it. One I've been using, it cost a fortune, but I LOVE it is Natura Bisse's The Cure Sheer Cream, it is so very light, maybe too light for many, but for me it is just right. Next mix in a smaller drop of a golden-brown illuminator. There aren't many out there, so I recommend either Nars's Illuminator in Laguna or NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator in Gleam. I would also start off with a very small drop at first, because you want it to look natural, not too dark or too glowing. Then either brush or pat the new base all over your face, carefully avoiding the undereye area. I would also avoid the lids too. Keep it strictly on the face.
Step 2: Next step is up to you. Either keep it bronzy or add a pop of pink or coral cream blush on the apples of the cheeks. It adds instant brightness as if you were running around all day! Josie Maran just launched a Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee, which I can't wait to try.
