Lather Up! Well, not really.

A look at woman’s facial shaving.
When you think of shaving your face, you think of Caroline Manzo, who admitted to doing it, of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, lathering up and using a Gillette Trac II Razor. But the real image you should be getting is a daintier one, let me explain.
In the beauty world, it's called 'Dermaplaning' and I am so happy this has become my solution for the ‘fuzz’ on my face. I believe and often share we need to embrace our beauty flaws, especially because many of them make us unique. BUT, I just can’t embrace my hairiness, never could, and now I found a solution that isn’t expensive or time consuming to get rid of unwanted facial hair. It’s called Dermaplaning, which sounds a whole lot nicer than ‘shaving’.
What is it? Dermaplaning is a form of exfoliation that uses a sharp blade to scrape the surface of the skin removing dead skin cells along with that unwanted peach fuzz.
Where is this done? You can have it done in-office by a licensed professional, such as a dermatologist, aesthetician, or nurse and a session can cost anywhere from $40 to $150, depending on where you go.
OR, you can do what I choose, use an at-home tool. One that I like and has received many positive reviews is Tinkle (It's touted as being used as an eyebrow razor, but just ignore that.) For under $5.00, this dainty razor does it all… exfolitates, and removes peach fuzz while being safe for your face. Yes, it’s similar to shaving, but it offers a more feminine approach to this beauty routine and I view it as a treatment. I have used this without ever nicking myself, and here’s a tip, downward strokes only, following the growth of the hair. Very light gentle strokes, works just fine.
There is one at-home tool that is more expensive called DERMAFLASH. It is an at-home device with a goofproof blade that replicates the in-office treatment quite precisely. A specially formulated sonic vibration removes the dead skin cells and built up surface debris, while sweeping away pesky peach fuzz. I have used tool, which works well but comes with a high cost at $189.00, however, I have experienced trouble with charging it and turning the vibration on and off. I feel it is important to consider this and read the reviews, since it is costly.
What I love most about this, results are immediate. My skin feels so smooth, the smoothest it has felt since I was in my twenty’s, and there is absolutely no downtime. I especially love to apply my favorite vitamin C serum and overnight mask, because I can feel it seeping in and working its benefits. Or, for a Red Carpet Glow, use right before a big night and you’ll have a flawless canvas for your makeup application.
Skip lasers, bleaching or hair removers, and invest in this. You will be so happy you finally found a solution to your unwanted hair. I so wish I know about this when I was younger. My skin never felt so soft.
She isn't famous, but I love her tips and straightforwardness, Bachelor contestant Michelle Money tells you like it is.
