~ and Gives Aquaphor Healing Ointment Tough Competition

I am giving high praise to CeraVe's New Healing Ointment, and in my opinion it exceeds longstanding favorite, Aquaphor Healing Ointment, which has been a staple for many years in my household. This product has a much more creamy feel, however, it is still important to note that it is more of an ointment rather than a cream.

This fragrance-free formula has become my go-to product for helping very dry, cracked skin (especially the heels of my feet), skin irritations plagued by summer's heat/elements like eczema (In fact, it's earned the National Eczema Association seal of acceptance), and for me there is this unexplained constant itch on my leg, but an application of this controls it like magic. This isn't the type of product you'd slather on your face every night, however, I am sure it would promote unbelievable results, but it's ideal for stubborn dry spots anywhere on the body. It definitely feels 'greasy' on the skin with the initial application, but it does an excellent job of absorbing when you begin spreading/rubbing it into the skin.

CeraVe Ointment contains an impressive mix of emollients for long lasting repair. Again, I highly recommend you give it a try--- This winter I just might be slathering it on my face, stay tuned!

It's currently on sale over at for $19.99 for a big tub!
