~ Two products that help you achieve a beautiful look.
There was a time when summer's forecast called for you to raise the color notch one or two shades brighter. But this season continues to take a turn to nudes, and I'm not going to complain. To me, nothing looks more flattering than a beautiful woman sporting this desired nude look from head to toe with a flash of color coming from a statement piece rather than her lips. Mastering this makeup look is quite challenging, since the secret is in the colors you choose.
Leaving eyes bare might seem like the easy way out, but truth is, bare can leave you looking washed-out. These Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Trio in Nude Eyes by Physician Formula allow me to easily define my eyes along the lashes, very subtly. Not sure why they are called shimmer, not much pearl going on in the formula, which I like, but these sticks allow you to naturally play your eyes and even add a feline flick without being too bold. I LOVE the very nude stick, gives me my desired look, but I will share the reviews are mixed, so it might not be for everyone.
For cheeks I tend to naturally go pink so I like a very neutral tone. The most natural version of the look can be found in a sculpting powder compact, but also Benefit's Hoola bronzing shade gives the perfect 'tan' on fair to medium skin without a muddy look. I apply it lightly under the cheekbones as well as the upper crease of the eye. It works nicely with the nude eyeliners and still make you look like you're not wearing anything, while making your features pop.
The best color in the whole world, is the one that looks good, on you!
